Thanks to 'die-hard' fans

TO THE EDITOR

I would like to use this forum to thank my family, assistant coaches (both past and present), former players, colleagues, the "die-hard" Red Devil fans, and many friends who traveled all the way to Macon, Georgia, and who paid an outrageous price for a banquet ticket, and who sat through long speeches and introductions in order to celebrate with me my induction into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.

I was truly honored and humbled by your attendance. Many of you traveled great distances and re-arranged your busy schedules in order to attend, and I want all of you to know that any success I have achieved is because of the citizens of Lincoln County and their support. Everyone knows that Lincoln County is the greatest community in the world, and the support and love you have shown my family and me over the years will never be forgotten.

The Lincoln County Food Pantry would like to thank all our churches for their generous support. Thanks to the individuals, organizations and businesses, our U.S. Postal Services and the Spanish class at LCMS for participating in the food drive.

Thank you all for the monetary donations, Chapter #124 Prince of Peace and the T.I.A. Helping Hand, the Women Auxiliary Post 194 and Lincoln Motel.

It is important that we minister to the children, aged, jobless and homeless.

We are so grateful to all our supporters, your continued support and generosity and love provided the necessary assistance for those citizens in need of our help.
