Ronald Aycock honored at retirement dinner April 30

The Lincolnton City Volunteer Fire Department held a retirement dinner in honor of Mr. Ronald Aycock at the Lincolnton Club House, Monday, April 30. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful dinner and dessert prepared by the Lincolnton/Lincoln County Ladies Firefighting Auxiliary.
After dinner, Mr. Michael Wengrow presented Mr. Aycock with a plaque and a fire truck of flowers that represented his 29 and one-half years of loyal service to the City Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Wengrow, fire chief, spoke on behalf of the fire department. Mr. Aycock also gave his thanks and spoke of some precious memories he has and will always keep with him.
