BETH FLANIGAN KEENER

Mrs. Beth Flanigan Keener, 45, of Washington Highway, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at McDuffie Regional Medical Center, Thomson.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 6 at First Assembly of God with Rev. Addison Belangia, Bishop Ronald Wilson, Rev. Lanis Lewis and Rev. James James officiating. Interment followed at Martin's Crossroad Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Keener was employed at Farmers State Bank as a loan teller. She was a member of Faith Temple Church, where she was president of the Ladies Fellowship and was a member of the Praise and Worship Team.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Greg Keener; one son, Eric Keener and wife Erika, grandson, Tripp of Lincolnton; one daughter, Bethany Keener; parents, Everette and Dean Flanigan of Lincolnton; two brothers, Robert Flanigan and wife, Billie Jean and John David Flanigan and wife, Renee, all of Lincolnton; one sister, Carol F. Johnson and husband, Johnny of Lincolnton.

Pallbearers were Benton Belangia, Jimmy Griffith, George Leverett III, Dwain Moss, Walter Palmer and Bruce Turner. Honorary pallbearers were ladies of Faith Temple Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Temple Building Fund, 1477 Leathersville Rd., Lincolnton, Ga. 30817.

Rees Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
