Vera Goolsby Conerly

Mrs. Vera Goolsby Conerly, 82, a resident of Lake Crossing Health Care, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Graveside service were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 5, at New Hope Church Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Hillman officiating.

Mrs. Conerly was the daughter of the late I.C. Goolsby and the late Mozell Myers Goolsby. She was a homemaker and formally resided at Hwy. 220 East in Lincolnton.

Mrs. Conerly was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Alfred Conerly; six brothers, Clifford Goolsby, Kenneth Goolsby, Horace Goolsby, Ralph Goolsby, Wayne Goolsby and Dempsey Goolsby; two sisters, Hazel G. Gregg and Lois G. Wolfe.

Survivors include two sisters, Harriet G. Wells and Helen G. Bell, both of Greenwood, S.C.

Rees Funeral Home, Lincolnton, was in charge of arrangements.
