Golf team heads to state tournament
The Lincoln County High School Golf Team has finished its regular season with seven wins and two losses. The team just finished competing at the Region Tournament on April 25, 2007, playing "The Creek" at Hard Labor Creek State Park in Rutledge, Georgia. The team finished in second place out of five teams competing.

The team will compete in the State Golf Tournament in Columbus, Georgia on May 7, 2007. Members of the LCHS Golf Team are, (l-r): Coach Howard Ellis, David Lee, James Williams, Roger Boyle, Russell Aycock, Marcus Ferguson and Chris Reid. Not pictured, Grayson Gibens.
