Mary Fortson Lehocky

Mrs. Mary Fortson Lehocky, 62, of Sunrise Drive, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Pine Grove Church Cemetery with Rev. John M. "Dusty" Rhodes officiating.

Mrs. Lehocky was the daughter of the late Tracy Compton Fortson and the late Verna Bowers Fortson. She was employed at the Lincoln County Elementary School as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher for the past 14 years.

Survivors include one son, Alex Lehocky and wife, Karen of Smyrna, Tenn.; two daughters, Emily Bowers Lehocky and Verna-Virginia "Ginny" Page Lehocky, both of Lincolnton; two granddaughters, Abigail Chessa Lehocky and Samantha McKenzie Lehocky; two aunts, Geraldine Bowers Bailey of Plains, Ga. and Betty Bowers of St. Cloud, Fla.
