Lifenet brought in following two-hour extrication
A single-car accident occurred at approximately 4 a.m. on Friday, April 27, at the intersection of Highway 220 West and White Rock Road. According to a report issued by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Vicky Gaddis, 33, of Washington was driving east on Highway 220 West when, for some unknown reason, she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to run off of the road and travel about 174 feet before striking a Georgia Power utility pole. Gaddis' passengers, an eight-year-old female and an eight-month-old male were transported by Lincoln County EMS to MCG where they were treated and released. As for Gaddis, she had to be extricated from her vehicle (right photo) by rescue workers with the Lincoln County Department of Public Safety and Martin's Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department. Following the two-hour extrication, the patient was transported by Lifenet (right photo) to MCG where, as of press time, she was reported to be in good condition.
