Residents invited to tour Lincoln Castle before prom

Members of the LCHS Junior Class Prom Committee have spent months working on the fairy tale castle that will serve as the centerpiece for the school's Junior-Senior Prom set for Saturday, April 14. Pictured are: (l-r) Gail Remsen, Janelle Dukes, Sara Anne Remsen, Amy Dandron, and Crystal Ransom.
The annual LCHS Junior-Senior Prom will be held Saturday, April 14, from 8 until 11 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

The theme for the occasion is "Happily Every After" which means the school will be transformed into an enchanting fairy tale castle, complete with kings, queens, lofty towers, and a grand ballroom.

The LCHS Junior Class Prom Committee, which has been hard at work to make the night memorable, invites family members and friends to drop by "Lincoln Castle" to view the deco- rations from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. All inside photography, video taping, and "touring" must be done at this time; all persons will be asked to exit the building by 7:30 p.m.

Anyone who would like to stay and watch as the young people arrive at the prom is welcome to do so. Bleachers will be set up in front of the LCMS office to accommodate these individuals. Family and friends may also bring lawn chairs for the occasion.

Spectators are asked to park behind the school or in the lot behind Buddy Bufford Field. Only vehicles belonging to prom guests will be allowed in the upper parking lot.

As in years past, adults are asked to prevent children from crossing back and forth across the drive or walking up and down the sidewalks.

"The public's cooperation in this effort is greatly appreciated - it will help make the night safer and more enjoyable for all," said Gail Remsen, a member of the prom committee.

On behalf of the junior class, Remsen thanked all those who have volunteered their time, talents, and resources to make the evening a success.
