Anne Kate Lane Kelley

Mrs. Anne Kate Lane Kelley, 94, of St. Mary's, Ga., entered into rest on Monday, March 26, 2007 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems, Camden Campus.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, at Double Branches Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Kelley, daughter of the late George C. and Willie Lee Denham Lane, was a native of Double Branches. She was a homemaker, Sunday School teacher and Bible School teacher. She had resided in Camden County for the past eleven years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Herman Kelley.

Survivors included a daughter, Diane Kelley Silcox of Kingsland; three brothers, James Lane, Thomas Lane and Russell Lane; two grandchildren, Deborah Anne Chandler and Craig Lee Silcox; and four greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers were Terry Chandler, Craig Silcox, Jimmy Lane, Len Ashmore, Hank Ashmore, Ben Harding and Wayne Harding.
