Man's Resources

In Biblical times water was a scarce commodity and was much appreciated by the people of Palestine. Everyone was dependent upon springs and fountains, and water was even sold in the streets. This basic necessity was highly valued and preserved by the people of that time.

Modern man, of course, has devised methods of delivering water in almost unlimited quantities to almost every household. We have taken water for granted as we do many of God's blessings. But recently, we have become aware that continuous abuse of this resource has now endangered our supply, and once again we realize our dependence upon the basic necessities that God has provided. Let us again count our blessings and give thanks to our Provider. Let us Go Into the House of the Lord
