Sheila Ann Newton

Mrs. Sheila Ann Newton, 46 of Lincolnton, entered into rest on Monday, March 5, 2007 at her residence.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 9 at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Martin officiating.

Mrs. Newton, a native of Connersville, Ind., had lived in Lincoln County since 1992. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Rowe Fizer.

Survivors include one daughter, Erica Newton of Tignall, Ga.; her father and step-mother, Arthur and Lois Fizer of Lincolnton; and one brother, Alan Fizer of Lincolnton.

Pallbearers were Alan Fizer, Mark Beebe, David Fizer, Mike Fizer, and Carl Brown.

Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton, was in charge of arrangements.
