Pre-K registration to be held at board of education offices

Lincoln County Georgia Pre-K Registration for the 2007-08 school year will be held on Fri., March 9, beginning at 8 a.m., at the Board of Education Offices. The offices are located at 423 Metasville Road in Lincolnton. Please come early as seats are filled on a first come first served basics.

A child must be 4 years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2007 and be a resident of Georgia in order to register for the program. A certified birth certificate and proof of residency must be brought to registration. Proof of residency would include any document with your home address on it. Neither a P.O. Box address nor a telephone bill will be accepted.

Your child's required Pre-K medical certificates, social security card, and insurance card will also be accepted at this time but are not required for registering. Your child does not have to attend registration.
