Kindergarten registration to be held at LCES March 7-8

Registration for entering kindergartners will be held at Lincoln County Elementary School Wed., March 7 and Thurs., March 8. Please bring your rising kindergartner (must be five years old on or before Sept. 1, 2007) according to the recommended schedule listed. The registration will include a brief screening assessment (approximately 45 minutes completion time).

Recommended schedule: Wed., March 7 - 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. last names beginning with A through E; 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. last names beginning with F through K; Thurs., March 8 - 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. last names beginning with L through R; 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. last names beginning with S through Z.

The child's birth, health and immunization certificate (if available at this time), social security card, and proof of residence will be requested on this day.

Four-year-old students who already attend the school system's four-yearold pre-school do not have to register. They will need to follow up on the three certificate requirements by August 2007.
