Victims treated and released
A two-car accident took place Tuesday, February 6, at approximately 4 p.m. at the intersection of the Augusta Highway and Highway 378. According to a report issued by the Georgia State Patrol, Lisa Goldman, 48, of Lincolnton was traveling east on Highway 378 when for unknown reasons, she lost control of her 2005 Lincoln Navigator and struck a 2003 Honda Accord driven by Delois Brown, 38, of Lincolnton. The Navigator came to rest in a ditch south of the roadway. Both victims were transported to MCG and have since been released.
