Toni Maria Roberson to wed Robert thomas Callaway

TONI MARIA ROBERSON AND ROBERT THOMAS CALLAWAY

Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Roberson of Washington are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Toni Maria to Robert Thomas Callaway, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Callaway, also of Washington and Ms. Faye Callaway of Tignall.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Roberson and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Bailey, Sr. of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Partridge of Lincolnton. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Thomas McAvoy, Sr. and Mrs. Cary W. Bailey of Washington.

She is a 1999 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2005 graduate of Athens Technical College where she earned an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education. Miss Roberson is employed by Wilkes Eye Center as an optometric assistant. She is currently studying to become a para-optometric assistant.

Mr. Callaway is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Callaway of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. John Thigpen of Thomson.

He is a 1998 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2006 graduate of Ath- ens Technical College where he earned a degree in Machine Tool Technology. He is currently attending Athens Technical College to become a CNC Specialists. Mr. Callaway is employed by Georgia Iron Works in Grovetown, Georgia.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 12 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Washington.
