No pumpkin pies this year!

Gloria and Nelson Brooks' pumpkin crop was a tad smaller than usual this year. Nelson attributed the anomaly to global warming and continental drift. Helping harvest the bounty with their great-grandfather, William Norman, were: (l-r) Barbra Ann Mathews, Hunter Mathews, John Mathews, Sara Beth Mathews, and Madison Mathews. Unfortunately William and the over 50 guests he is expecting for Thanksgiving will have to settle for pineapple, coconut and sweetpotato pies and other confections for dessert this year.
