Will Guin places third in World Karting Assoc. event
Will Guin places third in his first ever World Karting Association Nationals race in Dexter, Georgia. Will Guin, participated in World Karting Association (WKA) Nationals events held in Dexter, Georgia on September 15-16, 2007. This two day event had karters from all over the United States. He competed against karters from New York, Tennessee, Ohio just to name a few.
The event started on Saturday with qualifying. Will qualified fifth out of a field of 21. Once the race started, he moved up to the front of the pack pretty quick and took the lead. With a few laps to go, he was passed and drifted back to seventh where he finished in the Junior Sportsman 1 Lite Division.
The day started on Sunday with him qualifying tenth in a field of 20. The 20 lap feature started with a long way to go to get to the front. It was a long battle to get there but Will was able to hold on to a third place finish in Junior Sportsman 1 Heavy Division.
