      Will Guin, participated in World Karting Association (WKA) Nationals events held in Dexter, Georgia on September 15-16, 2007. This two day event had karters from all over the United States. He competed against karters from New York, Tennessee, Ohio just to name a few.

      Chandler McKenzie Crite, daughter of Joey Crite and Crystal Harper, celebrated her first birthday with a party at the home of her grandparents, Charlie and Brenda Harper, on Saturday, September 15, 2007.       Mrs. Dora Hogan will be celebrating her 104 birthday on October 9. Born in Lincoln County, Mrs. Hogan now resides in Easley, South Carolina. She enjoys quilting, cooking and canning when she can. She has 14 children and a very special nephew, Mr. T.C. Crite of Bridge Port, Conn. There are six generations in her family.

     The four generations of Goldmans are: Alexander Donston, of Gillette, Wyoming, Doris Goldman of Greenwood, S.C., Anna Kate Donston with baby, Addison Donston of Gillette, Marvin Goldman of Lincolnton, Brock Donston of Gillette and Paul Goldman of Greenwood.
