Trip to Carowinds

 The Youth Ministry of St. Luke Baptist Church of Lincolnton enjoyed a trip to Carowinds September 8. The children enjoyed a day of roller coaster rides and fun in the sun. For lunch, the children enjoyed sandwiches, chips, chicken wings, fruit cups and drinks. On the way back, the group stopped in Rock Hill, S.C. and had supper at Shoney's Restaurant. Thirteen youth and seven adults made the trip. Chaperones were Pastor and Mrs. Alvin Rivers, Shantell Henderson, April Ruff, Mildred Medlock, Hermecender Walton-Crawford and Doris Hunter.
