Gloria Wilson honored with a buffet dinner for 80th birthday

MRS. GLORIA WILSON MRS. GLORIA WILSON Mrs. Gloria Wilson was surprised by her son, Vernon, with a party at the home of Tab and Sherri Reed on Double Branches Road, for her 80th birthday.

The event was a buffet dinner served around the pool and consisted of all the picnic type foods and drinks. Red and white was the color scheme and each table was covered in white linen with red and white checkered overlays. Centerpieces for each table was a straw hat filled with a nesting hen.

Gloria's birthday cake was iced in white with red writing and decorative edging. A display of sewing notions topped the cake along with an 80th candle.

About 60 family members and friends came out to help celebrate this special occasion.

Gloria received many useful and appreciated gifts and wishes to thank everyone for making this a night to remember.
