Two-night revival
A two-night revival service will be held at Parks Grove FBH Church at 7:30 p.m. nightly on Sept. 27 and 28. Special guest will be Dr. Barbara Hamilton of Jacksonville, Fla.
Dr. Hamilton will also be the guest speaker for Family and Friend Day on Sun., Sept. 30 at 10 a.m.
Choir anniversary
Pleasant Grove CME Church Gospel Choir will celebrate its anniversary on Sat., Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. All area choirs and churches are invited to help them celebrate this joyous occasion.
Friends Day at Martin's
Friends Day will be held at Martin's Crossroads C.H. Church on Sun., Sept. 30. Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m. with morning worship beginning at 10:45. Children's church and nursery will be provided. Lunch will be in the fellowship building immediately following the morning service.

Fish & chip dinner
A fish and chip dinner plate sale will be held Fri., Oct. 5 at The Clothes Closet from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Health Fair Oct. 13
Lincoln County Family Connection will sponsor a Health Fair, Sat., Oct. 13 at First Assembly of God Family Life Center from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Board meetings
The regular meetings of the Lincoln County Board of Elections and Voter Registration will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. The meetings will be held at the Board of Elections, The Lincoln Center, 160 May Ave., Lincolnton, GA 30817, any changes to the schedule dates or alternate dates for meetings occurring on holidays will be posted.
Membership drive
There will be a LCHS Academic Booster Club membership drive on Fri., Sept. 28 at the Aquinas/Lincoln County football game with tables set up at both gates. A $10 membership puts your name in the hat for a drawing for a LCHS afghan, two $50 gas cards from Cliatt Crossing and a $25 gift certificate to the Chicken Coop. The drawing will be held at half time.
Mega Worship Mega Worship for students and young adults will be held at First Assembly of God on Sat., Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. with the Emmanuel College Singers.
Drama to be presented
The drama Heaven's Gates and Hell's Flames will be presented at New Hope Baptist Church in Thomson on Sun., Oct. 14 at 6:30 p.m. and Mon. and Tues., Oct. 15 - 16 at 7 p.m.

Immunization drill
The Lincoln County Health Department will be holding a mass influenza/ immunization drill on Oct. 2, 3, 4, 2007 from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. all three days. Prices for the flu shots this year will be $20. They accept cash, Medicaid, Peachcare or Medicare Part B.

Youth 4 Christ meeting

Musical prog. at Sun.
The Barbara Stokes Elam Choir and the W.H. Rucker Choir will sponsor a family and friends musical program on Sun., Sept. 30, 3 p.m. at Mulberry C.M.E. Church. Everyone is invited to come and worship.

Board meeting
The Lincoln County Food Pantry executive board will meet at the Lincoln County Public Library on Thurs., Oct. 18 at 1 p.m.
Sparring matches The Augusta Boxing Club will present its monthly sparring matches on Thurs., Sept. 27 at 5:30 p.m., located at the club's gym at 1929 Walton Way, Augusta. This event is free to the public.
Participants will be members of the Augusta Boxing Club's beginner and intermediate classes. Although these matches are classified as "sparring," the atmosphere will be that of actual competition complete with referees, physicians and other aspects of competition. Trike-A-Thon set to raise funds for children's hosp.
The Lincolnton community can help save lives by participating in St. Jude Trike-A-Thon event to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The event, scheduled for October 27, is sponsored by Barbara's Family Day Care.
By participating in or attending the event, you will help raise funds for the internationally recognized hospital. These funds will help St. Jude its ongoing fight against childhood catastrophic diseases.
Trike-A-Thon is designed to expose pre-schoolers to using riding toys safely through a week-long fun activity and provides a parent-awareness program that involves the parents in safe behavior practices to help ensure their child's well-being.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Founded by the late entertainer, Danny Thomas, and based in Memphis, Tennessee, St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical com- munities around the world. Birthday celebration
Former active duty Marines and guests will celebrate the 232nd birthday of the United States Marine Corps on Saturday, November 10. The Washington Little Theater is gearing up for their newest offering in the 2007 season. The Washington Follies, directed by Jo Rider Randall is set to begin Fri., Oct. 5 at 8 p.m.; Oct. 6 and 7 shows are at 3 p.m.
The show is full of variety and the talent lined up to sing, dance and perform have been veted by the veteran director. The festivities are hosted by Washingtons own Henry Harris and is to include a personality parade of celebrity look alikes.
The theaters annual Gala will be held after the Saturday performance starting at 5 p.m. at the historic Fitzpatrick Hotel Ballroom. Reservations can be made for the show by calling 706-678-9582.
SpiritFest Nov. 3
New Beginning Independent Methodist Church located on Tobe Wells Rd., Elberton, will have its third annual SpiritFest Nov. 3 beginning at 6 p.m.
