Ben Ross welcomed the group to Lincoln County with a brief history of the area and afterwards gave the blessing. Lunch was an old fashioned barbecue with all the trimmings topped off with a birthday cake for Vivian who turned 87 on August 22.
After lunch, Mobley gave a presentation on the Hawkins family history. The group of forty-eight enjoyed a display of family pictures and reminisced about fun times at previous Hawkins gatherings.
