Herrick graduates from Army Aviation Warfighting Center
PFC JENNIFER L. HERRICK PFC Jennifer L. Herrick recently attended Army Aviation Warfighting Center in Fort Rucker, Alabama. She graduated August 10, 2007.
PFC Herrick is assigned to 1st battalion, 13th aviation regiment, Class 07-508. She was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Aviation Badge. She is now MOS qualified as an Aviation Operations Specialist. Her duties include scheduling and dispatching aircraft, maintaining information on inbound/outbound flights, reviewing/ coordinating flight plans, and assisting crash rescue crews with emer- gencies. She also coordinates with FAA on overdue flights, maintains individual flight records, and operates ground/air communication radio systems.
PFC Herrick will now return to reserve unit (3rd Army Augmentation Co.) Fort McPherson, Ga. and will attend Augusta State University in January, 2008.
She is a 2007 honor graduate of Lincoln County High School. She is the daughter of Thomas and Angela Herrick and the granddaughter of Carolyn Dockery of Lincolnton, and Richard Herrick of Rockford, Ill.
