Payne, Danner exchange vows in afternoon ceremony Aug. 4

MR. AND MRS. TADD DANNER MR. AND MRS. TADD DANNER Tiffany Payne and Tadd Danner were united in marriage August 4, 2007, at two o'clock in the afternoon at Hephzibah Baptist Church in Lincolnton, Georgia with Rev. Allen Danner, father of the groom officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Payne and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Wilson. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jo Dean Payne, Mr. Harold Mattox, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wilson and the late Mrs. Leila Mattox and Mr. Cecil Payne.

The groom is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Allen Danner. He is the grandson of Mrs. Lois Sprouse and Mrs. Ruth Danner and the late Rev. Lewis Sprouse and Mr. Bernard Danner.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was stunning in a gown of beaded embroidered satin featuring a pearl and lace bodice with a beaded chiffon split overlay featuring a chapel train accented with pearls. Her bouquet designed by Diane Dekreon was a mixture of Crystal Kimsey, Okidoki and Yanara gerbera daisies with her grandmother's necklace nestled between the blooms.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Shawna Pierce sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Dallas Parker, friend of the bride and Miss Danielle Danner, sister of the groom. They wore tea length watermelon satin gowns with a chiffon overlay and a faux diamond accent below the bodice. The flower girl was Rylyn Duignan, Goddaughter of the bride who wore a miniature duplicate of the bride's gown.

Best man was Mr. Dant Danner, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Mr. Allen Wilson and Mr. Chris Guinn. Ring bearer was Skylar Pierce, nephew of the bride.

The church was decorated with a center arch candelabra flanked by two angled candelabras twined with English ivy holding lighted wedding candles. The unity candle given to the bride and groom by the bride's mother stood on a white pedestal and was mirrored by a white pedestal holding white bridal lilies. The nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Deborah Beggs


Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held in the church fellowship hall. The brides table held a three- tiered wedding cake iced in white decorated with a trim of silver ribbon and miniature bouquets matching the bridal bouquet. The grooms table held a red-velvet cake iced in green and brown and decorated with miniature landscaping equipment. The refreshment table held a center bouquet of yellow, white and watermelon gladiola in a crystal vase.

During the reception the bride and groom and guests relocated to the church gazebo where the newlyweds danced their first waltz.

Amid a shower of bubbles accompanied by the sound of ringing bells the couple left the church in their wedding attire to enjoy a wedding trip to Daytona Beach, Florida.

Rehearsal Dinner

The families and wedding party of Tadd Danner and Tiffany Payne met at Hephzibah Baptist Church Friday, August 3 for rehearsal and dinner. A picnic theme was chosen for the event. The square tables were covered with blue table cloths and held center arrangements of colorful gerbera daisies in old fashioned white and blue milk pails. The serving table was covered in a blue and white checkered cloth with picnic baskets holding the utensils and napkins. A dinner of barbecue, hash with all the trimmings was enjoyed by all.
