Bussey celebrates third birthday with Cars themed party
      Chadwick Bussey, Jr. celebrated his third birthday on July 7, 2007 with a Disney Pixar Cars themed party given in his honor at his residence. Family and friends enjoyed hotdogs, hamburgers, baked beans, chips, a Lightning McQueen birthday cake, and ice cream.

      Darren and Janet Pharr of Washington announce the birth of their son, Alex William, born Thursday, July 12 2007 at Doctor's Hospital in Augusta. He weighed seven pounds, eleven ounces and was twenty-two inches long. Maternal grandparents are G.T. and Betty Hall of Washington. Maternal great-grandparents are the late Casper and Rebecca Saggus and the late G.T.

Walton will be guest speak at Goshen revival
      Rev. Donald Walton will lead revival services at Goshen Baptist Church beginning with Homecoming on Sunday, July 22, 2007. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday and at 7:30 p.m. each night Monday through Friday. Worship through music will be led by Stephen Rayner and Peyson Moss.

Dyson celebrates fifth birthday with party at her home
      Maci Elizabeth Dyson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Dyson, was treated with a water slide party at her home. After opening presents, the children enjoyed a Hannah Montana cake with colored Gold Fish and M & M's. They then rushed outside to the waterslide and enjoyed listening to the Hannah Montana CD.

Food drive in Augusta
      The first-ever "Canstruction" was held recently at the Augusta Mall to collect food for the Golden Harvest Food Bank. Several Lincoln Countians participated in the event which was sponsored by Golden Harvest and the AIA (American Institute or Architects).
