Roberson entertained at bridal luncheon May 5
Toni Roberson, bride-elect of Tom Callaway, was entertained at a bridal luncheon Saturday, May 5 at Ebenezer Baptist Church hosted by Mrs. Tommy Roberson of Washington.
For the occasion the bride-elect was lovely in a white tea length skirt and white top with tie at the back. She was presented a corsage of a single light pink gerbera daisy tied with sheer white ribbon.
As guests arrived, they were asked to sign the bridal book and then find their place cards at the table. The fellowship hall was beautifully decorated with an assortment of gerbera daisies and other spring flowers. White linen tablecloths were placed on the tables. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal of pork loin, stuffed potatoes, broccoli casserole, green beans and rolls. Tea and coffee were also served. For dessert, guests enjoyed key lime pie.
Assisting the hostess in serving were Mrs. Curtis Hall of Washington, and Miss Aubrey Sawyer.
After the luncheon, the bride-elect presented her attendants and other special guests with gifts.
Joining the bride-elect and hostesses were her mother, Mrs. Rodney Roberson of Washington, her grandmothers, Mrs. Gayle Roberson of Washington and Mrs. Harry Partridge of Lincolnton, the prospective bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Faye Callaway of Tignall; Mrs. Frank Phail of Appling, Ga.; Mrs. Scott Ware and Mrs. Shaun Cox of Tignall; Mrs. Aaron Parton of Lincolnton; Miss Kayley Roberson, Mrs. Rob Jackson, Miss Maura Jackson and Mrs. Sam Moore, all of Washington.
