Volunteer appreciation

An appreciation time was held on May 8, for volunteers at LCES. Some volunteer opportunities include book fair, CRCT testing proctors, art room, reading with students and math facts with students, media center, PTO officers and activities and field day events. Volunteers enjoyed delicious home-made cinnamon rolls made by Peggy Broome who is employed in the kitchen at LCES. Volunteers were welcomed and thanked for the work they did this year by Ms. Marilyn Bell, LCES Principal. Mollie Wagoner, Title 1 Parent Involvement Coordinator, presented certificates of appreciation and a volunteer goody bag to each volunteer.
