Come to A.H. Stephens State Park on Sat., May 26, and enjoy a program on Civil War era medicine. See displays on period equipment, talks about the hardships and illnesses faced by the fighting men of the Civil War and as always tours of the home of the vice president of the Confederacy. The program will begin at 11 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.
A.H. Stephens State Park is located in Crawfordville, Ga. and is operated by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. The park is located 3 miles north of I-20 off exit 148. A small admission fee is charged. For more information please contact the park at 706-456-2602.
