Benton Willis is guest of honor at Table Top Tea
The Swan-Coach House in Atlanta, Georgia was the setting for a Table Top Tea honoring Benton Willis on Saturday, April 21. Hostesses for the occasion were Meredith and Martha Ann Fox of Fayetteville, Georgia.
For the lovely occasion the brideelect chose a floral turquoise and cream strapless dress.
As guests arrived to the prestigious ladies club, the Swan-Coach House, they were welcomed by a valet and were invited into the foyer for a selection of tea, lemonade, and mimosas.
As guests made their way into the Belle Nita room for brunch, they were seated at tables covered in white linen and adorned with crystal containers of floral arrangements. The room featured walls of glass and French doors that opened to the garden patio, and guests were able to enjoy the beautiful day.
Guests enjoyed a menu of chicken salad in heart-shaped pastry timbales, creamy frozen fruit salad, cheese straws, and muffins. A cymbidium orchid was a beautiful garnish for the delicious food. As guests enjoyed the swan-shaped dessert of ice cream and meringue, the hostesses presented Benton with several pieces of her chosen china. After dining, guests were escorted onto the garden patio for pictures.
The bride-elect presented her hostesses thank you gifts of monogrammed hand towels.
In addition to Miss Willis and the hostesses, attending were the brideelect's mother, Mrs. Brenda Willis and the prospective bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Liba Cunningham. Also in attendance was Miss Chelsey Willis of Athens; Mrs. Alyson Abercrombie and Cole Abercrombie, and Miss Suzanne Griggs of Atlanta; Mrs. Judy Harris and Mrs. Priscilla Styles of Conyers; Mrs. Gail Reed of Evans; Ms. Teresa Burgess, Ms. Debra Poland, and Mrs. Ruth Poland of Lincolnton; Mrs. Whitney Gaines, Mrs. Shelli Hopkins, and Mrs. Mary Watkins of Tucker.
