Lamar and Ruth Garrard of Double Branches, visited Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown, Virginia recently and took along a copy of The Lincoln Journal. This is the 450th anniversary of the founding of the Jamestown Colony. General Benjamin Lincoln was at Yorktown for the surrender of Cornwallis.
