.. Julian Finley and Marion Cliatt spent the day in the woods looking for old building remains. They enjoyed shooting their pistols in the woods.

.. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Cliatt went to the Hash House in Troy, it was closed, they tried another place, it was closed so they ate at the Huddle House.

.. Miss Erica Newton was a lunch guest on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fizer.

.. Jimmy Story and C.L. and Laverne Stanley visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fizer Tuesday afternoon.

.. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fizer visited Grace and Don Stephens at Hartwell Hospital Sunday, the 22nd. Don has had surgery and needs our prayers.

.. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fizer attended the Odom-Lozona wedding at Salem Baptist Church Saturday afternoon.

.. The Twelfth Roberts Family Reunion was held on Saturday, April 21 at Troy United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Troy, S.C. Thirtyeight guests were present for the occasion. Mrs. William Clary gave the devotional from Hebrews, chapter 13, verse 6-8 with a very inspiring message to follow. We had a moment of silent prayer for the families and their lost loved ones at Virginia Tech. Our family members that have passed always was also read and remembered. Mrs. Clary also returned thanks for our meal.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Timmerman, Miss Erin Timmerman, Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Mahaffey, Miss Jordan Mahaffey, Ethan Mahaffey and Mrs. Al Wright honored their aunt, Mrs. Irene Bailey, for her birthday on Sunday with lunch at the Timmerman home in North Augusta. Present were Dr. and Mrs. Jarrod Dumpe, Derek Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Stanley of San Antonio, Texas, Jimmy Story of Pompey, Maryland and Mr. and Mrs. William Bentley.
