McCormick Lions Club to host golf tournament May 2

The McCormick County Lions Club will hold its annual golf tournament on Wed., May 2, at Hickory Knob State Park. The format will be Captain's Choice/Shotgun Start at 1:30 p.m. with lots of tournament and raffle prizes for red, white, and gold tee players. The $50 per person entry fee includes drinks and a steak cookout at the Barn following play. Non-players are also invited to attend the cookout at a cost of $12 per person.

All proceeds from this event will enable the Lions Club to continue their vital services which include conducting bi-monthly eye clinics, providing glasses for the needy, supporting the Leader Dog for the Blind Program and the Storm Eye Research Institute, and aiding several local charities in their work.
