MARKWOOD A. KISTLER MARKWOOD A. KISTLER Mr. Markwood A. Kistler, 58, of Savannah Lakes Village, entered into rest on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Heartland Hospice in Augusta, Ga.

Funeral service were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, at McCormick United Methodist Church with Revs. Jerry James and Bobbi Taylor officiating.

Mr. Kistler was a veteran of the United States Navy and served his country honorably in Vietnam. He was a member of McCormick United Methodist Church and an avid golfer and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Kistler; a son, Matt Allen Kistler of Jacksonville, Fla.; his mother, Ruth Leopard of Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Richard Kistler of McCormick; three sisters, Carolyn Noland, Marilyn Bowles and Sharon Kistler, all of Dayton, Ohio.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Matt Kistler, Richard Kistler, Bruce McLean, Steve Shaw, Jim Brissey, Cliff Ruble, Bob Beane and John Hornsby.

Memorial contributions may be made to McCormick United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 267, McCormick, S.C. 29835.

Rees Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
