I overheard a friend of my mother's at the grocery store the other day lamenting over the second of two bank robberies in Lincoln County within a month's time. "I just never thought I'd live to see the day a bank in Lincolnton would get robbed!" she exclaimed.

      It's almost Spring Time and Easter is right around the corner! As many of you know, it's Relay time, too! When you go in the grocery store, stop and pump gas, or doing your banking you may see signs for fundraisers that support Relay for Life. Not many people know what Relay for Life is all about - I wanted to take a chance to explain Relay for Life and why it's so important to our community.
