Nancy Hohlwein named Realtor of the Year'

Nancy Powell Hohlwein, associate broker at Powell & Associates, Inc., was named Realtor of the Year at the Classic South Board of Realtors Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, February 21, 2007.

This award is given every year to the Realtor who exhibits all the traits of what being a realtor stands for, such as being involved in their community, being passionate about their work, having great professionalism, and giving assistance to whatever and whomever needs it. To receive this award is a high honor.

Mrs. Hohlwein was nominated for this award by her colleagues of the Classic South Board of Realtors, which is made up of realtors in the Lincoln, McDuffie, Wilkes, Warren, and Columbia County area. Mrs. Hohlwein has been a realtor since 2000 and just recently obtained her Associate Broker's License in 2006. She is immediate past president of the Classic South Board of Realtors and is currently serving as vice-president of the board. Mrs. Hohlwein has been a state director for the Georgia Association of Realtors for three years. She is also a member of the National Association of Realtors. Additionally, Mrs. Hohlwein is the president of the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce and serves on the school council for Lincoln County Elementary School. Her ultimate goal is to serve the public with utmost integrity, honesty, and professionalism.

She is married to Chris Hohlwein and they have three children, Olivia, Alexis and Hayden.
