.. Nancy Bailey spent the past weekend in Duluth with her sister, Harriett Smith. She also visited her children, grandchildren and mother. Saturday evening the family attended a pageant in which Courtney Owens, Nancy's granddaughter, was a participant.

.. Shirley Saturday is spending a week or so with her daughter, Suzan Knight and grandchildren, Marisa, John and Nicholas Knight.

.. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Cliatt enjoyed a trip to Savannah and enjoyed a play entitled "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress," and had a good meal at Yoder's in Abbeville, S.C. Matthew Garrett enjoyed shooting pool with Marion one day the past week.

.. Mrs. Irene Bailey spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. William Bentley and attended church at Salem Baptist Church on Sunday.

Out of town guests of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fizer have been Don and Linda Wood of Madison, Indiana, Kevin and Judine Hooker and children of Rochester, N.Y., and William and Donna Fizer and family of Marion, Indiana. Mr. and Mrs. Fizer spent the weekend and attended church at Salem Baptist Church Sunday morning.

.. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Estes, Alicia Bryant, Patrick Bryant and Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Bryant spent Friday until Sunday at Holiday Inn in Athens. Mr. Joe Estes drove the wedding party around the campus for sightseeing. They were all there to attend the wedding of Eugene Bryant and Miss Lauren Albonese at the chapel Saturday afternoon.
