Chief Justice issues activity report for police department
An activity report was recently issued by the Lincolnton Police Department.
According to Chief Jim Justice, the following arrests were made in the city:
.. Trey Booker, 23, of Lincolnton, charged with possession of marijuana (misdemeanor) and driving with a learner's permit.
.. Jeffery Parks, 24, of Lincolnton, charged with possession of marijuana (misdemeanor) and disorderly conduct.
In other items of information, Chief Justice noted that the following incidents occurred recently:
.. Melissa White reported that an unknown person(s) entered her vehicle while it was parked at Fast Times Convenience Store and removed her checkbook.
.. Robin Brown reported that an unknown person(s) stole a red utility trailer that was parked behind his residence on S. Washington Street.
.. An employee of Family Dollar reported that two black females shoplifted approximately $40 worth of merchandise from the store.
All of the incidents listed above are currently under investigation, said Chief Justice.
