Vote "yes" March 20
TO THE EDITOR
      Please vote "yes" on March 20 to continue the one percent Sales Tax for Education and to issue general obligation bonds. By voting "yes" for SPLOST which stands for "Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax" - a one percent sales tax that already exists in Lincoln County for education, you will be investing in our children's future and the future of Lincoln County.

      Be Prepared, is that not the Boy Scout Motto? But are we ever really prepared for what comes next? I know that I am not always as prepared as I should be. The catastrophic events of 9/11, the tsunamis in Asia, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes…. are we prepared for an event of this magnitude?
