Mrs. Shannon Dawkins Jennings, 37, of McCormick, S.C., entered into rest on Monday, January 22, 2007 in McCormick County.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 25 at Goshen Baptist Church with Rev. Robert D. Adams officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Jennings was born in Wilkes County. She grew up in Lincoln County and lived in McCormick for the past ten years. She was a manager of Security Finance and a member of Goshen Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Jennings; a daughter, Brook Jennings; her father, Sammy Dawkins, and wife, Vicki, of Lincolnton; her mother, Jenet Howard Fowler, and husband, Ronnie, of Clearwater, S.C.; one brother, Alton Dawkins of Lincolnton; three sisters, Dee Dee Creswell of Lincolnton, Michelle Glass of Stockbridge and Kayla Dawkins of Lincolnton; her grandmother, Eula G. Howard of Greenwood, S.C.; and nieces and nephews, Cody, Hunter and Heath Creswell, Justin White, Gavin and Banks Glass, Cole and Graham Turner, and Victoria Gosling.

Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton, was in charge of arrangements.
