Mrs. Ruth Psalmond Hopkins, 93, wife of the late Theodore Hopkins of Rayle, Ga. entered into rest Thursday, January 25, 2007 in a Martinez health care facility.

Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 27 at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry O. Martin officiating.

Mrs. Hopkins, daughter of the late George and Kate Bailey Psalmond, was a lifelong resident of Wilkes County. She retired from Almar Manufacturing and was a member of Rock United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty L. Morton of Rayle and Peggy S. Cason of Martinez, Ga.; one brother, Marvin Psalmond; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton, was in charge of arrangements.
