Greg Dukes graduates from SCHAM Academy

Lincolnton resident Greg Dukes (r) receives his 2006 South Carolina Hospital Association Management Academy plaque from M. John Heydel, president and CEO of Self Regional Healthcare and 2006 SCHA Chairman.
A Lincoln County resident is a recent graduate of the South Carolina Hospital Association’s Management Academy.

Greg Dukes, Manager of Support Center Services at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, this fall completed training at the Management Academy, which features an accredited curriculum designed specifically for healthcare professionals. The Academy helps develop and groom strong leaders and equip them with the skills needed to manage healthcare organizations today and into the future.

“Whether a seasoned director or a new front line manager, the Management Academy is right on target for all healthcare leaders,” Dukes said. “The curriculum is timely and designed for today’s healthcare leader. What I considered most valuable were the relationships that were built, the sharing of knowledge and experience and the networking opportunities.” A longtime Lincoln County resident, Dukes and his wife, Janet, are parents to two daughters, Janelle and Taylor.
