Santa Stroll to take place in Washington

Please join the Humane Society of McCormick County on Sun., Dec. 3 for the 4th annual "Santa Stroll." This special event will take place in historic Washington, at the Petal Pushers Christmas Shop and the fully restored Fitzpatrick Hotel.

Select shops will open to accommodate ticket holders wishing to get an early start on Christmas shopping. In addition, wine and hor d'oeuvres will be served between the hours of 2 and 5 p.m. at Petal Pushers and numerous door prizes will be awarded throughout the day. Guests who purchase a deluxe ticket will also be invited to a wonderful holiday buffet at the Fitzpatrick starting at 4:30-6:00 p.m.

The menu includes oven roasted chicken, roasted garlic and rosemary pork loin with mushroom gravy, cornbread dressing, sweet potato soufflé, grilled mixed vegetables, rolls and butter, chocolate fudge cake or banana pudding, and coffee and tea. Dinner ticket holders will also be eligible for a drawing for Sunday Brunch for two at the Fitzpatrick.

Tickets to the stroll are $7. Tickets to both the stroll and the dinner are $20 all inclusive. In addition, the Fitzpatrick is offering special rates to guests who would like to spend the night after the dinner.
