Chamber will host annual legislative breakfast Dec. 7

The Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce will host its 10th annual "Breakfast With Our Legislators" Thursday, December 7, from 8 until 10 a.m. at The Lincoln Center.

The legislators who have been invited to take part in the event are United States senators Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss; 9th District Congressman Charlie Norwood; State Senator Jim Whitehead (24th District); and State Representative Barry Fleming (117th District).

Following a buffet breakfast, each legislator will give a brief overview of the issues facing the state and/or nation next year. The men will then participate in a question and answer session.

The chamber of commerce extends a special invitation to its membership, elected officials, and other interested parties to attend this event.

Due to limited seating, reservations must be made by calling the chamber office at 706-359-7970 no later than Monday, December 4, at 5 p.m. Moreover, entire tables may be reserved for businesses, churches, clubs, and so forth.

The tickets cost $10 each.
