James C. Bailey James C. Bailey, 68, of Lincolnton entered into rest on Saturday, November 11, 2006. The body was cremated with private services for immediate family only. Mr. Bailey was born in Atlanta and moved to Duluth in the early 1960's where he was self employed by Bailey Brothers, Inc. He had a successful drywall business for over 40 years. He was an Army veteran and an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt and to fish. He preceded in death by his parents, William and Bessie Bailey, brother, Eugene Bailey, and sister, Nancy Samples. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Bailey; two daughters, Shere' Owens of Braselton, Ga. and Shellie Owens of Gainesville, Ga.; four beautiful grandchildren, Whitney Owens and Kassidee Owens of Gainesville, and Tyler Smith and Courtney Owens of Braselton; one brother, Harold Bailey of Buford, Ga.; three sisters, Linda Fletcher and husband, John of Altoona, Ala., June Gentile, of Charleston, S.C., and Susie Theil and husband, George, of Suwanee, Ga.; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Alvin Cox, Mike Hawkes and the Michael Mongrue family.
