Tree of Remembrance for 2006

The Lincoln County Historical Society is honored to sponsor The Tree of Remembrance for 2006. It is a highlight of the season for this community and its lights will shine throughout the holiday season. The tree is located at the intersection of Peachtree and Main Streets, near the fountain.

A light "In Honor" or "In Memory" of family and friends can be placed on the tree for a $1.00 donation for each name. A register for the names will be displayed at the Historical Park on Pioneer Day, Saturday, November 18, 10:00 am until 3:00 p.m. Registers will also be displayed at the following locations: City Pharmacy, Crawford-Breazeale Drug Co., Jacob's Garden and Jericho Florist. Requests may be mailed to: Mrs. Mobley Ross, P. O. Box 245, Lincolnton, GA 30817.

You will be rewarded each time you see the lighted tree, the name listed in The Lincoln Journal, and the list displayed at City Hall. Those "In Honor" will be evidence that someone is very special, and those In Memory" will be remembered by many and in many ways.

All donations will be used for the maintenance and preservation of the Historical Park. Thank you for your participation and support. May your holidays be blessed with faith, hope and love!
