Covered bridge canceled

TO THE EDITOR

It is with deep regret that we must tell our friends in the community that we will no longer be able to decorate the covered bridge.

There is a lot of work involved in decorating the bridge and our yard, and age and health are catching up with us.

We want to thank all of you who have visited with us during the past ten years and we are sorry that we

cannot continue this tradition. We will always remember the nights sitting around the fire, drinking hot chocolate, roasting marshmallows and talking with you. We will certainly miss this.

We want to take this opportunity to say "Merry Christmas" to all of you and thanks again for supporting us through the years.
