Christopher and Taylor Knight honored at wedding reception

Newlyweds Christopher and Taylor Godsey Knight were honored at wedding reception on Saturday, October 7, at the Lincolnton Club House in Lincolnton.
Hosts for the occasion were the bride's parents, Rohn and Phyllis Anderson; uncle and aunt, David and Cindy McCarty; grandmother, Winnie Thompson, all of Washington; and friend, Minnie Clark of Lincolnton.
The couple was married on Saturday, September 30, in Augusta.
For the wedding reception the couple chose casual attire. The bride chose a brown halter-top dress. The v-neckline was accented with beadwork. A heart necklace complemented her dress.
Potted greenery, yellow chrysanthemums, candles and greenery were used in decorating throughout the clubhouse. Tables were covered in yellow, green and white cloths.
Guests enjoyed delicious heavy hors d'oeuvres that included party sandwiches, drummettes, shrimp cocktail, fresh vegetables, skewers of fresh fruit, and punch.
The three-tiered wedding cake was iced in white and decorated with fresh yellow daisies. It was made by the bride's aunt, Jennifer Anderson of Augusta, and the bride's grandmother, Kay Anderson of Thomson, and presented to the couple as a wedding gift.
Tending the gift table and assisting the couple was the bride's great-aunt, Nancy Moon of Washington.
Fifty guests attended and included Tim and Regina Thrasher of Iva, S.C., Ronald and Kay Anderson, Pam and Kayley Dean, Beth Anderson, Naomi Edmunds of Thomson; Jennifer Anderson of Augusta; Dennis and Penny Quinn and Rebecca Quinn of Washington.
Mr. and Mrs. Knight are making their home in Augusta.
