Spooktacular held at Guthrie home
The first-ever "Haunted Halloween Spooktacular" was held Tuesday, October 31, at the home of Renee and Ernie Guthrie. The event featured hayrides, refreshments, mad scientists, witches, ghouls, and plenty of bats, rats, and spiders. Close to 700 people were on hand for the festivities. Pictured are (clockwise from left): the Grim Reaper, the Guthrie House receiving a coat of spider webs, and Ernie Guthrie chatting with a black crow. The event was sponsored by Commercial Insurance Services, Fast Times Enterprises, and Radio Shack. The sponsors are planning to host an even bigger and better "Spooktacular" next year.
