BARBARA J. HOGAN
Mrs. Barbara J. Hogan, 68, entered into rest on Saturday, October 21, 2006.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 26 at St. Luke Baptist Church with Rev. Roy D. Andrews officiating. Interment followed at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hogan, daughter of the late Tutt and Beulah Lewis Zellars, was born in Oglethorpe County but later moved to Lincoln County where she attended public school.

Survivors include two sons, Mr. James (Elizabeth) Cullars of Appling, Ga. and Mr. Norris Hogan of Lincolnton; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Mae Freeman of Washington, Ga. and Ms. Lucille Z. Norman of Lincolnton; one brother, Mr. Tutt Zellars, Jr. of Lincolnton; three special nieces, Ms. Barbara Ann Zellars of Elberton, Ga., Mrs. Lettice Little of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Lola Ramsey of Augusta, Ga.; one devoted niece, Mrs. Phyllis Norman Harris of Lincolnton; one sister-in-law, Ms. Betty Zellars of Lincolnton; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Mr. Eddie Lee Hearst, Mr. Phil Norman, Mr. Chris Hunter, Mr. Fred B. Wells, Mr. Marcus Zellars and Mr. Ricky Hunter. Honorary pallbearers were Mr. Will Turner, Mr. George Davis, Mr. Willie Jones, Deacon Curtis Zellars and trustees and friends. Flower bearers were co-workers and friends.

Norris W. Gunby, Jr. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
