Step back in time at the park

Elijah Clark State Park will step back in time and offer a day of family entertainment-1700's style on Sat., Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the log cabin area of the park. Come see how early Georgia settlers would have celebrated the harvest season and pick up some unique items for you or for those on your holiday list.

There will be demonstrations of butter churning, spinning and carding wool, toy making, calligraphy, basket making, and outdoor cooking with samples available or try your hand at a game of horse shoes or sack racing. There will be live dulcimer music throughout the day. Vendors will be on hand to offer fall vegetables, soaps, home canned goodies, and other items our ancestors might have enjoyed during this time of harvest and celebration. Food concessions will be available. Come and bring the entire family.

Admission to the Harvest Festival is free with your $3 park pass.
